Placement is critical when deterring geese. To make sure you have the most success in safely driving geese away from your property, we recommend a site assessment. Using Google Earth, we take a snapshot of your problem area with nuisance geese, measure it and recommend the type of unit, how many, and their most effective placement. Geese Deterrent Site Assessment
Our Geese Deterrent System is the most effective, humane and environmentally-friendly way to eliminate your geese problems. Available for land and water, each unit is solar-powered and emits an amber colored light, disrupting the sleeping pattern of geese, ultimately encouraging them to move to a new location. A single unit will effectively protect an area of 3.5 acres.
This is maintenance-free protection for your property. There is simply no other method that measures up in effectiveness, safety, cost or reliability.
3.5 Acre Coverage
This system has an effective range of at least 75 yards in any direction, One unit will service a pond that is up to 3.5 acres in size (about 450 x 450 ft), provided all areas of the pond are within line-of-sight of the Geese Deterrent Unit.
Some ponds may have inlets or bays where geese can hide at the edges of the pond. To make sure the amber beam will reach these areas, special care must be taken when placing the unit. We’ll help you ensure any hidden areas of the pond are within line-of-sight of the Geese Deterrent Unit.
Due to unique shapes and terrain, some pond shapes may require two or more units to provide complete line-of-sight coverage, and maximum effectiveness.
