Case Study: NOOGA Splash

Making a splash! Situated on the beautiful Chicamauga Lake at Chester Frost Park, the NOOGA Splash aqua park offers excitement and fun for residents and visitors alike. The first of its kind to the region, it began when Larry Zehnder and John Brown, NOOGA Splash co-founders, pursued the idea of a public-private partnership with Hamilton Country, relying on Commercial Recreation Specialists (CRS) for their recreation and business expertise. Zehnder and Brown worked with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) to lease the land through Hamilton County, and created their own business, NOOGA Splash, to operate the facility.

“The idea of an on-the-water inflatable obstacle course was created from a desire to have fun and stay active, especially with our kiddos! This venture is the dream of two families, local to the Chattanooga valley. We are delighted to bring this unique recreational experience to our community,” said Zehnder.  (Scroll to continue…)
