Case Study: Fest Park

From athletic play to all play. Fest Park in Delavan, Wisconsin, is home to many of the city’s youth baseball games and other organized athletic events. But city officials were looking to draw more patrons to the park. They turned to Commercial Recreation Specialists (CRS) to come up with a solution that would extend the park’s usage beyond baseball.

CRS worked alongside City of Delavan officials to plan, design and install a new playground system at Fest Park. The playground incorporates a variety of dynamic play components to promote active play, coordination and peer interaction among users. With the addition of this interactive playground alongside the athletic fields, the park now caters to more members of the community and provides a wider range of recreational offerings.
