Case Study: Discovery Days Daycare

Discovering new ways to play. The owners of Discovery Days Daycare were looking to update their worn-out play structure. They wanted to provide the children at the center with better play opportunities that would inspire more imaginative play while working to develop gross motor skills.

The owners teamed with Commercial Recreation Specialists (CRS) to plan, design and install a new Superior playground that was suitable for ages 2 to 5. The new play structure has a larger capacity of 30 children and incorporates multiple slides, a single panel climber and a zig-zag balance beam. Now the children have space for active recreation to build strength, balance, coordination and while building communication and social interaction abilities.
