From empty to exciting. As part of a multi-phase development, the Lake Mills Rotary Club of Wisconsin teamed up with Commercial Recreation Specialists (CRS) to plan, design and install a new playground at Wallace Park. The Rotary Club worked for two years alongside the Lake Mills Parks Department, the Lake Mills Area Community Foundation and many generous local businesses and residents to plan and raise funds for the new playground equipment and park development.
CRS developed a design for a state-of-the-art playground that combines independent elements with classic play structures. This combination climbing and motion elements promote active recreation, balance, coordination and social interaction among children.
Subsequent phases of the Wallace Park development plan include a Splashpad, wildlife trails and additional playground equipment to help the City of Lake Mills continue it’s legacy of community support for children.
