Empty to eye-catching. With a high ropes course, lakefront activities, mini golf, campfires, wagon rides and more, Trinity Pines boasts an abundance of recreation activities for guests to enjoy. But officials were looking for a way to reinvigorate an underutilized area of the campus pool with an exciting and eye-catching amenity.
Featuring an “L” shape, the pool contains a diving area and a non-swimmer area at opposite ends of the “L” that both stay well populated. The corner of the “L,” however, had seen a variety of small inflatable slides, but they often proved to be challenging for the location of the pool and were not durable enough to accommodate up to 10,000 campers per summer.
