In today’s fast-paced corporate world, it’s easy to get lost in the hustle and bustle of daily tasks and deadlines. At CRS, we understand the significance of investing time in team bonding activities to rejuvenate employee spirits, enhance collaboration, and build strong relationships among colleagues. This is why our recent company outing was held at the breathtaking Land of Natura in Wisconsin Dells, WI. It was a remarkable success and allowed the whole team to experience one of our own sites firsthand.
Land of Natura
Sitting on 150 acres, this back-to-nature adventure park possesses a massive floating obstacle course, including the towering Mountain and new Peakz as main attractions. Other features include 60-foot inflatable water slides, fleets of kayaks and SUPs, floating cabanas and shade, and much more. Brothers Adam, Rich and Dave Makowski opened Land of Natura’s doors in mid-June, 2023. Land of Natura unveiled 2,000 feet of river shoreline, bluff outcroppings, woodlands, marsh, prairie, and unglaciated rolling topography. Additionally, the pristine shoreline is a designated State Nature Conservancy. This ensures the natural scenic beauty of the river shoreline, including wildlife habitat and biological diversity, is protected. The Conservancy designation is one more way the owners remind visitors to leave a light environmental footprint while still immersing themselves in nature. The Makowskis aim to reacquaint visitors with the natural beauty that first brought travelers to the Dells more than 150 years ago.
Awarded Largest Floating Aqua Park in North America
Founder of Wibit Sports, Robert Cirjak, traveled to Land of Natura from Wibit headquarters in Bocholt, Germany. Then, he prestigiously awarded the resort for the largest floating aqua park in North America on the largest naturally filtered manmade lake. CRS designed and installed the thrill-inducing floating obstacle course. The course was configured by CRS Product Specialist, Bill Spencer.
Inspiring the Human Spirit
“This is why we do what we do,” expressed Ryan Hartberg, CRS’ VP of Business Development, about the company outing at Land of Natura. As we scrolled through the photos shared on our official Facebook page, we couldn’t help but relive the memories made. A day filled with laughter, camaraderie and engagement from CRS teammates of all tenures, ages and abilities is a true testament to the Makowski brothers’ vision for the Land of Natura. Similarly, this idea is what fuels CRS to inspire the human spirit through active recreation. Therefore, this midwestern oasis successfully emphasizes back-to-nature, sustainable and multi-generational FUN.
