A wooded oasis. Four Corners Park has long been a staple of the Madison area, dating back to 1922. Because of its central location in the city, the park is popular among younger children and is used regularly in the summer by the Four Corners Pre-School Recreation Program.
In 2017, the Village of Shorewood Hills partnered with Commercial Recreation Specialists to plan, design and install a new playground system at Four Corners Park. The playground incorporates a variety of slides, climbing challenges and traverse obstacle to create a dynamic play space that promotes creative play, active recreation, strength, balance, coordination and social interaction as users make their way through the climbing and motion-based play elements.
